Description

The Permofix cementitious tile adhesive is easy to spread and very smooth and contains special polymers which give remarkable performance in terms of adhesion as well as water and impact resistance. It is ideal for application on interior and exterior walls and floors. Permofix can be used for laying mosaic, ceramic, stone brick and cement tiles and also as a powerful primer for plastering of walls and ceilings.

Technical Specifications:

• Composition: Hydraulic binder, cellulose thickener, PVA resin
• Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces are firm, dry, and free of dust, mould, oil, and grease. New brick walls should cure for at least 4 weeks before plastering. Off-shutter concrete must cure for 8 weeks before tiling.
• Mixing Ratio: Mix approximately 2 parts Permofix to 1 part water to a creamy paste. Allow to gel for 5-10 minutes, then remix before use.
• Application: Apply with a notched trowel to a minimum bed thickness of 3mm on walls and 12mm on floors. Allow to dry for at least 24 hours before grouting.
• Drying Time: Initial drying in ± 6 hours, full cure in ± 24 hours
